(When the law changed in Scotland, it was very amusing to me how suddenly pubs and such turned inside out: the tables/chairs on the pavements, which had previously been for non-smokers who really couldn't stand a tobacco-y fug, suddenly became resources for smokers who wanted to take their meal or a drink outside.)
Of course we don't reliably have a climate in Scotland that makes sitting outdoors a pleasant experience. It's nice today, though.
